Interviewer: Hello Gwen, first off I am curious to know what does fashion mean to you?
Gwen: Hello! I always love seeing women dressed in beautiful detailed clothing. So for me fashion allows me to set the rules, and call the shots! I get to transform women daily even if it's just with one article of clothing. I make fashion, fashion doesn't make me.
Interviewer: Since you have such a passion for fashion when did you know that it was fashion or nothing?
Gwen: Well during my time I have tried, and studied many different fields, and somehow someway I always ended up back at my sewing machine. As soon as I finish sewing a piece I begin to glow, and I become overwhelmed with a feeling of accomplishment! My heart, and soul lies in fashion.
Interviewer: What are the joys of being an entrepreneur?
Gwen: I get to call the shots! There is never a time where I create a design, and I can't move forward with it because the person I'm working for doesn't like it. I get to let all my creativity loose! I also get to set my own hours, and meet a ton of interesting people.
Interview: Okay, last question. You seem to be a pretty successful entrepreneur, however I'm sure there must be some hard things. What do you have to say are some struggles?
Gwen: Though I love what I do it does come with a few hardships, and the first one is getting your name out! You constantly have to advertise, and that means doing about 20 jobs at once which is hard for just one person! There are also some days where I may get a few non cooperative customers.
